The official currency in Austria is the euro. Due to its location, Austria has three different regions of climate: the east, with hot summers, minimal rain and mild winters; the Alpine regions, with short summers, long winters and frequent rain, and the rest of the country, with mild Atlantic climate. The best time to travel to Austria is between the months of April and October, with the summer in July and August.
