The Cross Border Xpress (“CBX”) is an overhead pedestrian bridge along the United States of America and United Mexican States border. It is operated by Otay – Tijuana Venture, L.L.C. and its affiliates and subsidiaries (“OTV”) and it connects a passenger building in San Diego directly with the International Tijuana Airport (“TIJ”). The purchase of a CBX ticket (the “CBX Ticket”) implies the acceptance of the passenger of the following terms and conditions printed in the back of the CBX Ticket, as well as of our Privacy Notice (which can be consulted at www.crossborderxpress.com/avisodeprivacidad) (the “Service Terms and Conditions”). OTV can reject or prevent entry to the CBX Bridge, without reimbursing any percentage of the CBX ticket price for infringement to the CBX rules or to these Terms and Conditions, or for illegal activities or bad behavior.

Only the passengers with a ticket of the International Tijuana Airport can cross the border through the CBX Bridge.

The passengers who go from the San Diego passenger building to the TIJ must produce a valid boarding pass to evidence that the TIJ is the origin airport of their flight, with departure time within the next 24 hours to their crossing by the CBX Bridge.

The passengers who go from the TIJ to the San Diego Passenger building must produce a valid boarding pass to evidence that the TIJ was the arrival airport of their flight, with arrival time within the four previous hours to their crossing by the CBX Bridge.

If a passenger does not cross within the periods mentioned above, he shall not be able to use the CBX Bridge at that time and OTV shall not be obliged to grant access after these periods. OTV shall not be responsible before the passenger for his inability to use the CBX Bridge. Notwithstanding the above, the CBX ticket can be used by the passenger in the future to cross the CBX Bridge, as long as he has a plane ticket for a flight within the above-mentioned periods and the CBX ticket is still valid.
Any TIJ passenger two years old and over must submit a valid CBX ticket to cross the overhead bridge. Passengers under two years of age must be accompanied by a person with a valid CBX ticket. A CBX ticket is valid for a passenger with a TIJ boarding pass to access and cross the CBX Bridge once and it is not valid for a second entry. The CBX ticket can be used only once for the direction stated, that is: (i) from the San Diego passenger building to the TIJ; (ii) from the TIJ to the San Diego passenger building; or (iii) both ways.

The CBX tickets are non-transferrable, non-exchangeable, and non-reimbursable.

OTV is not responsible of loss, damage, or theft of any CBX ticket.

The CBX tickets must be used within one year after their purchase date.

The OTV employees can request the passengers to produce their passport, visa, vaccination carnet, boarding pass, CBX ticket and/or other entry documents to have access to the CBX Bridge.

CBX has a flight information Screen System only for information purposes. The passengers are responsible for verifying their flight status with the respective airline companies. OTV is not responsible of the information contained in the flight information Screen System.

It is forbidden for the passengers to carry on the CBX bridge: (i) firearms or of any other type, fireworks, smuggled goods, illegal substances, and any other item that is not allowed in flights, according to what is stated by the applicable law of the United States of America and/or the United Mexican States and international treaties they are part of; and (ii) food, plants, or other elements with entry forbidden in the United States of America or in the United Mexican States, in accordance with what is stated by the applicable law or by the competent authorities of each country.

The passengers assume voluntarily any risk of loss of their goods and/or injury or death that could occur when crossing the CBX Bridge.
OTV AND ITS DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OF ANY INJURY, DAMAGE, OR LOSS INCURRED BY ANY PASSENGER THAT USES THE CBX BRIDGE, INCLUDING AMONG OTHERS, THOSE ASSOCIATED WITH SOCIAL OR LABOR RIOTS, FAILURES OR MECHANICAL OR CONSTRUCTION DIFFICULTIES, DISEASES, LOCAL LAWS, CLIMATE CONDITIONS, TERRORIST ACTIVITIES, CRIMINAL ACTS, OR ABNORMAL CONDITIONS OR EVENTS, OR ANY OTHER ACTION, OMISSION, OR CONDITION BEYOND THE CONTROL OF OTV.
OTV SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OF PUNITIVE, FORTUITOUS, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES. THE PASSENGERS USE CBX UNDER THEIR OWN RISK. THE CBX SERVICE IS AVAILABLE ON AN “AS ITS CONDITION” BASIS AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE EXTENT ALLOWED BY THE APPLICABLE LEGISLATION, OTV AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, RELATED PARTIES, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AND AGENTS DO NOT GRANT ANY GUARANTEE, CONDITION OR REPRESENTATION OF ANY NATURE, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLICIT, STATUTORY OR OF ANY OTHER TYPE, INCLUDING THOSE ASSOCIATED WITH THE MARKETING, ADEQUACY FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND THOSE DERIVED FROM THE ORDINARY COURSE OF BUSINESS, USE, OR TRADE.

OTV shall not be responsible of the flights missed by the passengers.

OTV is not responsible if the relevant authorities do not authorize a passenger with a CBX ticket to enter the United States of America or the United Mexican States, and it shall not reimburse or return any percentage of the ticket purchase price nor shall it indemnify the passenger for this issue. For all the legal effects, OTV appoints as its address that located at: [Mario Pani No. 705- PH, Oficina C, Col. Santa Fe, C.P. 05300, México, D.F.], for any issue related to the service provided by OTV in the United Mexican States.

The CBX ticket sold by Aeroméxico is not valid for tax purposes. To request this evidence, please visit www.crossborderxpress.com.
In the receipt delivered by AM, please ignore the amount that appears in the tax line because it is a border product. These are preliminary sums, so please go to CBX to be provided the final tax amount. To obtain a tax invoice for the corresponding portion to Mexico, access www.cbxfacturaoficial.com (within 15 natural days of the ticket date).
