USA Flight Regulations

New Regulations for flights to and from the United States

Aeromexico advises its passengers, by order of the Transportation Security Administration of the United States (TSA), that it will implement the new, Secure Flight Regulation, which requires the following mandatory information when making reservations for flights to and from the United States:

  • Full name of  passenger (as it appears on passport)
  • Date of birth
  • Gender

*We are in the process of adding date of birth and gender fields to the flight booking screens on aeromexico.com. We therefore ask that you please provide us with the previously mentioned information at least four days before your flight by calling one of the following telephone numbers:

Privacy Protection
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires that you provide your full name, date of birth and gender for the purpose of watch list screening, under the authority of 49 U.S.C. section 114, the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 and 49 CFR parts 1540 and 1560.  You may also provide your Redress Number, if available.  Failure to provide your full name, date of birth and gender may result in denial of transport or denial of authority to enter the boarding area.  The TSA may share information you provide with law enforcement or intelligence agencies or others under its published system of records notice.  For more on TSA privacy policies, or to review the system of records notice and the privacy impact assessment, please see the TSA Web site at  www.tsa.gov.
