The city of Fresno is located in the heart of California’s central valleys between Los Angeles and San Francisco. With over half a million inhabitants, Fresno has become the fifth most populated city in the state. It is considered an agricultural leader for its vast grape, almond, orange and cotton crops, to name a few.

If you travel between February and March, make sure to take the Blossom Trail Tour, a 60-mile trip which will allow you to admire the area’s groves, orange and peach orchards, vineyards and other places of historical interest.
Part of the city’s charm can be found in the special places you can visit, such as the 300 ft. water tower; the Kearny Mansion, former home of the agricultural baron and the Meux Home, a residence that once belonged to the renowned Confederate surgeon. If you enjoy sports, make sure you catch a Fresno Grizzlies ballgame.
You can also witness the natural wonders of the city, such as Woodland Park (and its Japanese Gardens), the Roeding Park and Zoo. Just an hour away from the city you will find the Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings National Parks. Set aside time to explore the Sierra National Forest too!
