The traditional part of Montreal, Canada known as Old Montreal, offers many of the city’s activities. One of the islands, Saint Helen’s, is home to La Ronde, a Six Flags amusement park.
Montreal’s cultural life is vibrant from cinemas and theatres to bars and cafes. There’s never a dull moment! Shopping can also prove to be a vacation must. Saint Catherine and Saint Denis Street are both good places with great shops, restaurants or you can find a quaint pub for a night cap.
Throughout Montreal you’ll discover over 30 museums, including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts which is the oldest museum of art in Canada. Not to mention the always noteworthy Canadian Centre for Architecture and Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art; which is located in Place des Arts a major performing arts centre.

Beneath Montreal’s downtown is a whole other world — the Underground City.
